Humming Birds drink the nectar from flowers, and like bees the can get the sugar that is in the nectar to eat.

Dragonflies

Dragonflies are a type of Insect-’6 legs’, even though Dragonflies have 6 legs they are not capable of walking. Dragonflies are very successful hunters, they usually eat Mosquitos or small insects like bees, flies, ants and butterflies. You will often find Dragonflies around Lakes, Ponds, Streams and Wetlands.

Life Cycle: Female Dragonflies lay their eggs on plants growing out of the water, once the eggs have hatch the babies are call ‘nymphs’, the Dragonflie spends most of its life as a Nymph, the Nymphs eat invertebrates and sometimes even vertibrates like tadpoles and fish. Then it becomes a Larva, when the Larva is ready to metamorphose it climbs up a read or an emergent plant to spread its wings, though it could take up to 5 years for it to go from a larva to a dragonfly.

Positive Digital Footprint

To keep a positive digital footprint you shouldn’t say anything bad on the internet or put any bad photos on the internet also dont make any bad websites because if you go to a  job interview they won t give you a  job if you did/put something bad on the internet.

I keep a positive footprint by doing this blog it shows that i can be capible of doing all the tasks im asked to do.

If you keep a positive digital footprint you should talk to good people dont be mean and help others then they will like you better and you could get jobs easier.

Orford Map

maps 036Last month in History we had to draw a plan view map (birds eye view) of Orford.

For the drawing of the map we had to use main colours like:  red for built in areas, blue for water, green for grass/forest, black for roads and yellow for sand.

It was a fun activity because we got to draw in history.

But it took a while to draw and we had to get the roads and other bits in the right place which was frustrating.
